Well, it's official: Siemens' enterprise business is on the block with Nortel and Avaya seen as the frontrunners. So does this explain why Nortel CEO Mike Zafirovski has been so bullish about the enterprise business with his assertions the market wants a viable alternative to Cisco? If a deal with Siemens materialized, you'd probably be looking at a $6-billion enterprise business with strength in the VoIP and PBX (traditional and IP-based) markets.
